Conor Supports Armed Forces Day

Conor gave his support to Armed Forces Day. He said " One of the most humbling things I’ve had the chance to do as a Member of Parliament is meet and get to know some of the last veterans of the Second World War.

Forgotten Heroes: Human Traces of Nelson's Navy

Conor visited an exhibition at Bournemouth University entitled Forgotten Heroes: Human Traces of Nelson's Navy. The exhibition is hosted by Department of Archaeology & Anthropology and concerns the discovery in 2007 of over 150 graves were discovered in the grounds of Athenaeum Place.

Listening to constituents

Conor said "it was a pleasure to drop in to listen to local residents in Branksome Wood Road this afternoon to hear their concerns about a planning matter. Whilst planning is for the Council as the local MP I’m always keen to listen and pass on views".

Conor continues support for English Language School sector

Following on from my recent debate in Parliament on the English Language sector today I brought local schools to meet Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Minister Paul Scully MP. The sector is vital for Bournemouth and Poole and I want to make sure they get all the support they need

Visit to Crumbs project

It has been a difficult time for charities so when Crumbs opened again, Conor a patron of the charity visited to hear about the challenges the project had been facing and their plans for the way forward after taking time to reflect and return to their roots.

Visit to Bishop of Salisbury

Conor meets with the Rt Revd Nick Holtam, The Bishop of Salisbury  just before the Bishop retires after serving in the diocese for 10 years. Conor was given a tour of the Cathedral and enjoyed catching up with the bishop and wished him well for his retirement

Conor helps in Chesham and Amersham by-election

Following the sad death of Dame Cheryl Gillingham a by-election has been called on the 17th June in the constituency of Chesham and Amersham. Dame Cheryl had served the constituency since 1992.
