Conor was delighted to welcome a new business, Mr Simms in Old Christchurch Road where he met with staff and one of the owners Sam Momand, who is keen to open more branches in the town.
Conor who has always had a strong interest in schools was again delighted to visit Glenmoor and Winton Academies. After a meeting with Samantha Viney the Principal, Conor was shown around the school by Beat Roper and Baylin Robbins where he engaged with school staff and pupils.
Conor visited the local Charity Helping Homeless Veterans where he meet with David Wood the CEO and Neil Hague a trustee with responsibility for Build and Garrisons, at the charities project in Winton where they are converting a living area above the British Legion Club into living accommodation
Conor gave his support to the Down Syndrome Bill. He said "’I am proud to give my support to the Down Syndrome bill and thank Liam for leading on this excellent and worthwhile campaign, which will help families and people with Down Syndrome across the country.
