A massive building project is now well under way to create the new BEACH Building (Births, Emergency, And, Critical care, children’s Health) at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Poole Hospital is also undergoing an upgrade, including modernisation of operating theatres.

Conor met with students at Lion Works School and was shown around the school by Mr Bruno Davis and headteacher Ms Lyon. The Lion Works School is an Independent Specialist school.
Conor visited Mrs Ida Roffey in order to wish her a very happy 100th birthday. In 1969 Mrs Roffey's husband was one of the founder members of Northbourne Rotary Club but it was not until 1999 that Ida could only be admitted into membership when women were permitted to become members.
Conor was delighted to be invited to read one of the Bible readings at St Peter's Bournemouth Carol Service as he has been privileged to do since being the Town's MP.
