Conor welcomes the Environment Secretary to Bournemouth

Conor welcomed the Secretary of State for Secretary for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, to a dinner he hosted for Bournemouth Business people. A lively question and answer session followed after the dinner and address given by the Secretary of State.

Conor attends Police and Crime Commissioner selection

Conor attended the hustings to select the Conservative candidate for the 2019 elections for the position of Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner.  David Sidwick the chairman of Bournemouth West Conservative Association was overwhelmingly nominated as the candidate.

Conor attends topping out ceremony for new BU Gateway building

Conor was delighted to attend the topping out ceremony of Bournemouth University’s new Gateway building.  The new structure in St Paul’s Lane Bournemouth and very visible from the Wessex Way, will be the home of social sciences.  

Conor visits St John's School, Moordown

Conor visited St John’s School Moordown to see the project pupils had been working on looking at sustainability and dealing with plastic waste.

Conor was met by members of the School Parliament who gave him a tour of the school and discussed their project and artwork with him.  

Conor attends Poole Youth Parliament hustings

Candidates for the Poole Youth Parliament held hustings in Poole’s Council Chamber recently, to put forward their manifestos before the those who had registered could cast their votes.

Schools Industrial Challenge Prize Giving

Conor took the winning and runner up teams of the Bournemouth School’s Industrial Challenge to the Houses of Parliament to receive certificates and explain their winning projects to the Business Secretary of State, Rt Hon Greg Clark MP.
