Conor caught up recently with Lord Eden, who served as the Member of Parliament for Bournemouth West from 1954 – 1983. Lord Eden then sat in the House of Lords from 1983 – 2015, when he chose to retire.
Conor met with the Principal and Vice Chancellor of the Arts University Bournemouth Professor Stuart Bartholomew and CEO Nick Welch to discuss community relations, developments and plans at the university.
Conor held a meeting with the President of Dorset Chamber of Trade Ian Gurling and Head of International Trade Rob Booth to discuss how together they can promote local businesses on the world stage to promote Global Britain.
Conor visited Fernheath Play - where he is a patron - to meet with the Chair Paddy Williamson. During the visit Conor took time to chat and play pool with some of the children who use the centre. Fernheath Play is a fully inclusive play and short breaks centre in Bournemouth.
Conor continues to conduct house meetings hosted by constituents where neighbours are invited to come and share their concerns with Conor. The most recent of these meetings were held in Wallisdown and Northbourne.
Conor regularly meets with local business people to listen to their concerns, offer encouragement and take up any of their concerns. One this occasion he addressed those invited by local business QuoStar and took part in a discussion over dinner.
