Conor attended an online safety event in Parliament, hosted by Facebook. Conor was lucky enough to meet ‘Anti-Bullying Ambassadors’ from The Diana Award campaign. It is a campaign that equips young people, professionals and parents with the knowledge, confidence and skills to effectively tackle all forms of bullying, both on and offline. Conor listened to the ambassadors, who had all been affected by bullying, and were working to empower young people in order to create change.
Conor also spoke to representatives from Facebook’s Parent Portal – a new resource that gives parents, teachers and guardians the resources to make sure that their children are safe when online.
