Minister visits Bournemouth to announce £19.5 million jobs and investment boost

Conor welcomed the Minister for Communities and Local Government, Andrew Percy, to Bournemouth recently, where the Minister announced £19.5million of regional growth funding, direct from central Government.

The funding will be used to develop significant projects in the region, including the development of the Lansdowne Business District, an upgrade of the Wallisdown Road, as well as new homes in Hamworthy and investment in Bournemouth University’s Orthopaedic Research Institute.

The plans will aim to create 4,500 jobs and £200m worth of investment to the area.
