Schools Industrial Challenge Prize Giving

Conor took the winning and runner up teams of the Bournemouth School’s Industrial Challenge to the Houses of Parliament to receive certificates and explain their winning projects to the Business Secretary of State, Rt Hon Greg Clark MP.

Conor visits the Bournemouth Samaritans Office

Conor visited the Bournemouth Offices of the Samaritans and was given a brief by the Director into the outstanding work the team who are all volunteers are doing to help those who need a listening ear.

Key Cities Report Launch

As Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Key Cities, Conor was invited to give the keynote speech outlining his perspective on the opportunities of closer collaboration amongst UK big towns and small cities for devolved governments and the UK as a whole.

Conor attended the NHS Parliamentary Awards Reception that celebrated the work of all NHS staff and gives members of the public the opportunity to nominate a member of staff in the NHS that has touched, changed or saved a life.

Conor Chairs the All Party Parliamentary Group for Snooker

As Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for snooker, Conor organises the committee to meet regularly in Parliament to hear from speakers working in snooker at all levels and discuss issues in the sport, as well as promoting snooker more widely both within Parliament and outside.

Since Conor served on the Select Committee for Culture Media and Sport, he has continued to show a keen interest in the area and was privileged to be invited to the National Television Awards.

Listening to residents in Alderney

Conor is always keen to meet local residents to hear what their issues are on a national and local level. Recently out in Alderney, most people were keen to talk to him about Brexit and were keen to ensure that the Government delivered on the vote of the 2015 Referendum.
