Conor welcomed Sam Gyimah MP, Minister for Universities to Bournemouth University. The Minister’s visit included an academic showcase that combined impactful societal research with professional practice and student input. 

Conor and Minister open new Bournemouth Pier Approach

Conor & Dorset Coastal Forum welcomed the Minister for the Northern Powerhouse & Local Growth, Jake Berry MP to Bournemouth for the official opening of the Bournemouth Pier Approach, which had undergone extensive renovations. 

Conor places charity bet on Grand National

Conor was invited to take part in a Grand National charity bet at Coral. Conor’s winnings were given to Crumbs, the local catering charity for people with learning difficulties and disabilities, of which he is patron.

Conor visits Shelter

Following a meeting with Lord Bird, Founder of the Big Issue, Conor has been meeting with a number of homelessness stakeholders in Bournemouth. One of the first was Shelter, the national charity on bad housing and homelessness.
