An early challenge after the 2010 General Election was stopping the unpopular development proposals for Talbot Heath.
Working with residents, Conor and Conservative Councillors fought hard against this scheme and Conor ensured it was “called in” to the Secretary of State who accepted the Planning Inspector’s recommendation to REFUSE planning permission.
The news came as a huge relief to thousands of residents in communities around Talbot Heath and is a great example of democracy in action.
So many people played their part in preserving this vital area of green space between Bournemouth and Poole and secured an excellent result that protects our area now and into the future.
